Chief Executive Officer, Director
Kelvin Claney is a founder of ICTV Brands™ and currently serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Claney has established an international reputation over 20 years as a dynamic and creative marketer. He began working in the US Direct Response sector as an independent contractor to National Media Corp, for whom he sourced and executive produced major infomercial projects including Euro Painter™, HP9000™, Auri®, Color Cote 2000 polymer sealant™, Dustmaster 2000™, LeSnack™, Sterling Spring™, Iron Quick™, Fatfree Express™.
Mr. Claney also created the successful children’s toy product BetterBlocks®. For fifteen years, BetterBlocks™ has been advertised and sold nationally and internationally. In a principal capacity, he has overseen the production of ICTV Brands™’s Derma Wand® infomercial and has been responsible for sourcing all related skin care products in ICTV Brands™’s DermaVitàl® branded skin care range. Total sales generated by infomercials that Mr. Claney has initiated or overseen now exceed $500 million.
Richard Ransom joined ICTV Brands™ in July of 2008 as the Company’s Controller, was appointed as Chief Financial Officer on December 8, 2008 and appointed as President in September 2011. Mr. Ransom joined the Company with eight years of experience in financial management roles at Traffic.Com, Hildebrandt International, and Grant Thornton. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Accounting, and received his MBA from Delaware Valley College in December, 2009.
Ernest P Kollias Jr.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kollias joined ICTV in October of 2016 from Freedom Financial Advisory & Capital Management, Inc where he served as the CEO and President. He is a Certified Financial Planner professional and business owner with over 22 years of experience in growing and developing businesses. He has worked for Fortune 100 companies such as General Electric, SmithKline Beecham, Pfizer, and PNC Bank, and has held positions in finance, accounting, international operations, taxation, financial services, and insurance. He has also worked in public accounting for a globally recognized CPA firm before starting his own businesses over 15 years ago.
Among Ernie’s areas of expertise are strategic business planning, capital and asset management, comprehensive financial planning, wealth management, budgeting and forecasting, tax management, venture capital, and corporate business structuring. His financial and tax practice benefits companies who conduct business both domestically and internationally.
Through his tax management and financial consulting companies, Ernie has provided superior client services to over 350 companies and 1,200 individuals over the past 15 years. During this time, he has assisted in the establishment of over 200 corporate business entities and structured their tax and accounting practices.
Stephen J. Jarvis
Stephen Jarvis was named a Director of ICTV Brands™ in December of 2009. Mr. Jarvis is the co-founder and president of Positive Response Vision, Inc., Manila, a leading-edge infomercial-based direct response company. He has been engaged in the direct response marketing industry since 1984, when he formed Direct Response Advertising, Inc. This firm specialized in generating and qualifying direct response leads for companies dealing in luxury consumer items. The company also took several highly successful products to the Australian direct response market, the most notable being BetterBlocks™, which were sold through both DRTV and all major Australian retailers. In 1996 Mr. Jarvis took up residence in the Philippines, where he established Positive Response Vision, Inc. Under his leadership, the company grew to be the leading direct response marketing organization in the region, and the company marked and distributed a vast range of products throughout South-East Asia. As its President, Mr. Jarvis was responsible for product sourcing and acquisition, inventory, finance control, design issues, and sales back-end programs. Mr. Jarvis has also produced infomercials in a private capacity and licensed them to Positive Response Vision, Inc. and to other international infomercial companies. Recently, Mr. Jarvis established an outbound call center, Vision TV Philippines Inc, and has produced eight new shows for international distribution.
Presently with Great Valley Capital Advisors, assisting companies with corporate development and strategy. Mr. McDonald’s 40-year career spans several organizations from financing to direct response advertising to technology and media. His responsibilities as a Founder and Executive over the past 30 years include strategy vision, management, operational and sales. In particular, Mr. McDonald led National Media Corporation, a direct response marketing company, to $320 million in annual sales and a NYSE listing as a public company.
William N. Kinnear CPA, CA
Bill Kinnear was appointed a Director of ICTV Brands™ in March of 2013. As a chartered accountant in Canada, Mr. Kinnear has over 40 years of experience as a senior officer with a variety of companies, both public and private, in the accounting and financial disciplines. His experience includes the areas of mortgage underwriting and finance, point of sale, steel fabrication, secretarial services, and investments. Mr. Kinnear is currently Corporate Secretary for a private investment company, and provides corporate secretarial services to a variety of companies, working closely with stock exchanges and security commissions within Canada. Mr. Kinnear has also spent 15 years as President of Corsec Canada, Inc., providing corporate secretarial services to small cap public companies.
Diana Pessin, CPA
Diana Pessin was appointed a Director of ICTV Brands™ in January of 2016. Diana received her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and worked as a CPA at Arthur Andersen. She returned to school to receive her MBA at Columbia University and then went on to pursue a career in marketing with positions at Colgate Palmolive as an Assistant Brand Manager and Sportscapsule.
Diana joined HBO in 2002. She spent 10 years as the Director of E-Commerce and Marketing managing operations for the HBO Online Shop and developing robust digital media and promotional campaigns to drive customer growth via search, affiliate marketing, paid social media, sweepstakes and email. In addition, she spearheaded the global expansion of HBO’s e-commerce footprint throughout the European Union with a multi-language, multi-currency and mobile optimized storefront. Diana later transitioned to lead both acquisition and retention marketing efforts for HBO NOW. In addition to running multi-channel acquisition campaigns to support the launch and growth of HBO NOW, she led a cross-functional team focused on formulating retention strategies and partnered with technology teams to develop a data architecture to better support customer lifecycle marketing. In the summer of 2015, Diana was promoted to Vice President, User Acquisition and Programmatic buying where in addition to continuing to formulate acquisition strategies to drive subscription growth, she is working to build a programmatic buying practice to increase targeting precision and media efficiency.
Vice President of Sales
Doug Crouthers joined ICTV Brands™ in June of 2014. Mr. Crouthers is responsible for managing all of the Company’s Sales distribution channels, including international distributors in over 66 countries as well as Retail Sales and Live Home Shopping Domestically and Worldwide. Mr. Crouthers has over a 27 years of sales experience with almost 20 years in the Direct/Brand Response Industry. He most recently worked with Applied Perceptions where he cultivated the customer sales and service call center side of DRTV campaigns, working directly with ICTV Brands™ on multiple campaigns. He has also held the title of Vice-President of Teleservices at Irwin Naturals (Dual Action Cleanse) and of Vice-President of Sales at Tony Hoffman Productions (Bloussant). Doug earned a B.S. degree in Marketing and Business Administration from California State University, Northridge
Vice President of Marketing
Nikki Kearney joined ICTV as the Vice President of Marketing in December of 2014. Kearney is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns across all products and media channels. She is also responsible for managing media operations across multiple agencies. Prior to joining the ICTV team, Kearney was Vice President of Campaign Management & Media Operations for Mercury Media where she was instrumental in building the shortform division focusing on campaign development, performance analysis and operations. She also served as their Vice President of Client Services where she was responsible for overseeing the Client Services department with a focus on client development and program growth. Kearney also served as the Associate Director of Account Services at Direct Response Media and prior to that was the Marketing Manager for LA Weight Loss Centers, Inc. She graduated with honors from Penn State University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business.
Vice President of Operations
Vince Dargush joined ICTV in July 2014 as Director of Operations. Vince is responsible for overseeing the company’s marketing operations by continually seeking ways to increase revenue through current and new funnels while optimizing productivity. Vince brings over 8 years of experience in the Direct Response industry. Most recently while working at KPI Direct and LiveOps, Vince was one of the main point of contacts for ICTV Brands on all campaigns and projects. Over the past 5 years he has worked on improving numerous front end metrics on the DermaWand campaign through diligent A/B testing, most notably increasing the Average Order Value by over 10%. Vince received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ithaca College with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations.
James T. Toner, CPA
Vice President of Financial Reporting
James (Jim) Toner joined ICTV in August of 2017. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He started his career at Ernst & Young, and most recently spent more than 24 years at GlaxoSmithKline. His areas of experience include auditing, accounting, controllership, R&D, dermatology products, and serving as a senior finance business partner. Jim is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University where he received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance.
